You're talking about a truck right?

I have Bilstein HD shocks and OME (Old Man Emu) Heavy Duty Springs in my truck and it handles loads like a champ. Severely reduces body roll and you can hardly tell even heavy loads are back there. The extra leaf spring handles the weight great and the HD springs control the weight and springs very well. A great setup in my opinion.

I don't think I've seen coilovers for a Yota. Plus, they would seriously degrade your ride quality.

im just curious on how a coilover shock is going to degrade the ride quality when your ultimatly doing the samething as an add a leaf. both you are adding an extra spring to the suspension to either get rid of sag or to haul more weight. both are going to improve the spring rate just w/ the coilover you are getting a new shock w/ the upgrade when most trucks need them anyway. so why buy the add a leaf and then have to still buy shocks when you can buy the coilovers and be done in half the time and money?

Sorry it took me so long - here is a few pictures of my bilstein shocks and OME HD Springs....

Mr Toytech - Why put a bandaid solution over your sagging leaf springs? Why not fix it right the first time and be done with it? I hate knowing that I have something on my truck that is ultimately failed or not doing it's job correctly, I'd rather just replace it and do it properly. I'm not talking about an add a leaf. I'm talking about replacing the entire spring pack with something that is built to work. OME builds solid springs that do what you want and they are a system, not hucking a bandaid in between or on top of a bunch of wounded soldiers and then tightening your U clamps.

Sorry about the dirt, I had to wipe it away so you can tell they are Bilstens. Notice the 4 leafs and an overload spring. I'm going to do a pressure wash and oil down of the undercarriage in a few weeks before it starts getting cold out.

I de-cranked my front torson bars slightly for improved ride. The stance of the truck is that the rear sits ever so slightly higher than the front, poised and ready to haul.
