I get 23 mpg... but i'm 2,837 miles away from Philadelphia.

Which is 5,674 miles round trip -> 246.7 gallons -> at 2.80 a gallon -> 690.74 dollars.

Not including staying somewhere at night or food ....

Oh did I mention I have 3 free tickets to anywhere in the USA (no joke, united miles rock)

I'm 17 miles east of Anywhere, in the middle of Nowhere.

Sleep, who needs sleep?

Food? This time of year there's enough deer as road-kill to feed us for weeks.

Well, back to our drama................

As promised, i bought a new 1/2" drive BREAKER BAR (with LIFETIME warranty) and a 6 point 19mm socket....much to my dismay it was a deep socket, but it has a lifetime warranty too. Good thing because I just split it down the side like a banana. I also bought a 3 foot piece of black pipe.

So I have the leverage, but something told me bad things would happen with a deep socket. But that was all that ACE Hardware had..Shoulda bought the Impact Wrench set for $18.

I did buy a 12 point 1/2'' drive socket a few weeks back and just tried that but it skipped...so I am afraid I am already doing damage to the bolt now.

Oh well, that's it for now. Gonna watch it snow....

"He gazed longingly out the bedroom window reminiscing of the days of when he craved for snow and would travel for miles with no destination just to use his 4-high the right way.........but now the snow mocks him, knowing that he is powerless against it in his Cadillac and he hangs his head in defeat........................"

I'm on SEARS dot-com looking for sockets. Is there a difference between impact and normal sockets?

I HAD a 19mm 1/2'' drive socket in my hand, but I did not want to waste my time, so I didn't get it. I regret getting the deep one.....too many forces competing all at once so the weak spot fractured.

2X they have a much thicker wall to them and will not split, even the deep well.

off to finish cooking dinner as I wait for my ride.

Our snow is coming later tonight or tomorrow.

In my head, I figured they had to be stronger because of the brutality of their use. I just was afraid I'd get the "why would you buy that" speech from someone on here.

I'm still impressing myself with how I break stuff.

Work tomorrow, so maybe Saturday I will give it another shot.

Just thought I'd throw in a group photo for ya's.

It's snowing, so since my wife leaves for work just after 6am, thought I'd be nice and put it in the garage so it's clean in the morning. The Cadillac is odd man out and getting snow covered.

Not really a good pic. But ot's the 1st time the 3 trucks are side by side by side in the garage. Yes, I have a 3 car garage. THIS house is where all my money goes. OUCH!
