Good deal, Jerry. I wish I could see that grin on your face when you take it for a spin. I remember how happy I was to get my old '88 4Runner back on the road after its rebuild.

so, i'm gonna try to not get toooooo mushy here...but here it goes.

i came to this site almost a year and a half ago, in hopes to get some info.....what i got was MUCH MUCH MORE!!!

to everyone and anyone that encouraged me, teased me, cared enough to nag at me, gave me tips, pointers, hints, pictures, advice, a swift kick in the butt or nads or shins. To everyone that read this thread and said "why is he taking so long?" and checked back anyway. to everyone who contributed in any way whatsoever to making this possible....i am forever indebted. several of you have earned a place with me that is forever held in high regard.......

thank you very much. all of you.

and now, i say.

HOLY CRAP....it friggin runs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I admit after setting mine so many times, I still had to break out the manual to get the sequence right with the valves.
