Rob is right, ...in fact, I'd put a soaking rag below the gear and try to clean it up a bit, ...maybe scrub the dist. gear a lil, also? Just saying...sorry, lol.

I don't recall mine having the nub, I wouldn't worry about it, as long as the rotor is pointing correctly you should be fine.

I'm not sure about the NUB, ...I think it just lines up with the rotor on #1, but it looks like you're on #1 to me, ....am I wrong guys? Put the cap on and mark the distr. body in the middle of the #1 plug port, just for the heck of it.

Agreed, but 92, it is only for dust & not a viable excuse to not start it today, it can be replaced in 5 minutes or less once it is running.

Gotta love that "Hecho en Mexico" on most belts now adays. My snazzy looking Goodyear Belts are all written in English....then, in tiny writing, ..."hecho en mexico", lol.

No, but I like shooting. Brass being ejected = flying brass.

I wish my distributor had that notch. It would have saved some worry whether I was a tooth off.

I looked around for angled feelers, which would be ideal for valves, but all the sets I found didn't include the sizes I want.

I took my set of flat ones apart, so I can use an individual blade instead of fighting the whole pack.
