and yeah, i killed the pics and i'm a jackhole for doing that, but LUMPY nailed it by saying ADD and OCD got the best of me that day.

i got one to post when i was trying it, but when you clicked it it took you to my photobucket account....i want it so it plays on here......just trying to get ready for a 'start" video.

 

busy today most of the day with family festivities (1st holy communion) so nothing much will likely happen....but i've been eyeballing some stuff out there and my notes and pics and bags of stuff and really doesn't look like all that much stuff left.

took a peek---for the 1st time, at the DIAGOSTICS port.....since timing is in the near future, and although i have not researched how to do it, i thought if i opened that up, it might be the spot where everybody talks about putting that jumper thingy.......looked real bad in there and kinda horrified me. now, not knowing what it's supposed to look like in there....but looks almost melted in there......never had an electrical issue so then just imagined that there was or is some sort of old old old dielectric grease on there for safe keeping.

i will post a pic up.....later.

 

Ya I think that's just the grease you are seeing...

 

that's what i'm thinking....there are a few ports that apparently never had any on them, so they are perfect looking.

AHH! You found the problem, it was never your motor in the first place!!

J/k, mine looks the same with the grease, although your has a little rust mixed in with the grease.

It's fine, I think you are getting paranoid. hehehe.
