I don't see without changing the add shaft that the manual hubs will solve his problem

Can you punch your friend in the nose for me?

You know what I do in situations like this?

I research the subject. B/c I like to know WTH is going on under my own truck.

Here's a place to start...

http://home.4x4wire.com/erik/diffs/

And BTW, no ADD, no more shift on the fly...

However, fix your truck right, and add manual hubs and you can have both.

Unlock the hubs, and the shafts won't spin 100% of the time.

Lock your hubs and they'll be the same as when you had ADD drive flanges.

I know for a fact at least the 92 model year had the manual hub as an option.

hey everyone, well took my toyota to a family mechanic and told him what was going on with my 4wd. He thinks someone regeared the rear end, and thats why it locks up on cement. i did the spin test and i got 43 drive shaft spins and 20 tire spins. thinking of regearing for 35" what would be the best to stock gear ratio. thanks and have a good day.
