typically for any vehicle, a blower fan with only one speed = failed resistor pack. i don't know if your year truck has one. otherwise, fan switch.

The fan gets direct power from the under hood fuse panel. 10G White wire. The switch in your dash is three different size grounds. I don't really know, there is a relay also. I bypassed everything and had a toggle switch for off/high.

The 'off' position is open.
The 'high' position is high.
The lower speeds have resistors or something to reduce voltage=fan speed.

All the cars i've messed with are wired this way.

I can take a picture of my rig job since i run no dash

Remove the blower, hook it up to straight 12V from the battery. If it blows fast at 12V, it's probably the motor has just gone slow(bad/worn out bushings/bearings, etc); Usually when the resistor goes bad, you lose all speeds except high.
