92 pickup, what size is rear axle?
Yes, I'm new. I'm thinking about regearing up to 4.88 and installing a Detroit or Aussie in the rear to run 33's. How do I know if I'm 8" or 7.5"?

If it's a 2wd then the axle is a 7.5". If 4wd the rear axle is an 8"(with a 7.5" in the front).

If its an 8'', some places might say 7.8 or something like that.
