Hey everyone,

I did some reading and only found stuff on the 99-00 models having fuel gauge problems.

My fuel gauge been stuck in the same place for the past week (its showing half tank). Even when I turn the car off, it still remains stuck (im pretty sure it used to go to E when the car was off). Does this sound like a bad fuel sending unit? or maybe the needle is just stuck?

If any 2nd gen owners have had this problem, please let me know what I can do. I want to try to avoid taking it to the dealer because i've been reading they charge a rediculous amount to replace the sending unit (if that is my problem) and plus I live in Hawaii so everything is more expensive

 

Update: well I filled up my tank and the needle went up to full. guess i'll have to see if it gets stuck again.
