92 22re tmiming issues
i have a 92 4 runner...with 22-re...
with my distributor turned all the way clock wise ,im about 8-10 deg. BTDC....
.i spun the dist. one tooth and that put me right on TDC...but now the distributor is all the way counter clock wise now....that is just backwards from the start point......
i cant seem to get this right... also from front to back what are the cylinder #'s..?..... 3-2-4-1...?????? thanks for your help

If the engine runs good then your timing chain is probably setup correctly. I would make sure your TPS is adjusted properly. An improperly adjusted TPS will never allow you to set the timing correctly. A common issue is a TPS that doesn't think you're idling and so it signals this to the ECU and it advances the ignition timing.
