Build your own!!

I don`t know of any that bolt to a stock bumper.

Just know that if you hit something the brush guard will cause more damage to your truck.

If you want something to protect your front end build a custom bumper .

What Wyoming said.

You don't need one, unless maybe you're trying to protect your headlights during drives through thickets?

Spend the money on something else, something functional.

Ram Offroad's Safari Guards are the strongest brush guards I've seen, all one piece excepting the light inner cross bars that are removable.

The ARB bumper with brush guards attached are a good option as well... The way I decided to ultimately go; on my to buy eventually...

Where I live, deer are a real hazard. That's what folks around here get them for. If you mount a winch, warn transformer is the only one that won't twist your frame under lots of torque on an off center pull. I've put way too much pull on mine with no bad results. I guess it depends on your needs. Good luck

Warn transformers are only available from folks pulling them off of their current rigs... Can no longer buy all the pieces -- I've looked into it a year or two ago...

If wanting to protect from deer -- you're really ahead with a one-piece system like Ram's Safari guard. Those bolt together PoSes just result in your brush guard destroying your hood and front of the the front quarter panels, increasing rather than reducing the damage... For all intents the bolt togethers are for aesthetics/appearances only...

The ARB bumper is an option too. But with that you really have to upgrade your tbars as well, which makes it a ~$1500+ project, or 2.5-3x the cost of the Ram...

I've seen killer ones on Craigslist for sort cheap. If you like them buy one, who cares how functional it is.

you'll care how functional it is when your cheap brush guard costs you an extra $1500 in multiplied damage that could be avoided by putting a real bumper that is designed to hit a deer and not taco on itself.

the problem with most brush guards is they all use the factory bumper mounts - which are very thin and not designed to hold under the increased leverage of add-ons like a brush guard. Though yes, the Warn trans4mer is a better solution, it's still not going to hold up like an ARB or TJM bumper with an upper section, in a real situation.

I know my "Toyota" Brush guard mounts to the same spot that my recovery points (IE, hook and loop)are mounted to on the frame. Not on the bumper. But i do believe if I hit a deer or moose, it would not do so well, but will get the shrubbery out of the way.

every one i've seen has tiny mounts there at the bottom of the frame, and has another support on the actual bumper itself. if yours only mounts down at the frame then i'd say its an even bigger damage multiplier with all that leverage and no triangulation.

Like anything else if the kid down the street has one your not whatever they say these days

If people want to pay for more parts may as well let them.

Darn deer took one look at my bumper and slowed down enough to hit the drivers door dead center
