'91 ADD wont engage
Hi all, Have been trying to find out how to permanetly lock my ADD in my truck so that its on full time. I have manual hubs, but since its been working on/off inconsistently lately I'm tired of the headache and just want to permanently lock it on full time.
I remember reading an article on how to do it, but cant seem to find it on here.
If anyone has this done and would care to enlighten me on how to do it, I'd much appreciate it.
thanks.

Find the 2 vacuum lines on the passenger side fender. They come up from the front diff and go to 2 vacuum switches blue and red. What you need to do is supply vacuum to one of those lines. This will pull the diaphram in all the time.

Either that or remove the add actuator fork and install a hose clamp where the space is so it is in the locked position at all times.
Or option number 3 remove the whole add tube and install a non add shaft like I did.
