I have an erratic idle problem. Sometimes it idle fine other time it won't idle at all. I bring it drive into the garage and it doesn't never seem to fail at home. I'm considering gasoline and matches as a cure unless I can get some help!

First place I would look is for a vacuum leak. With it running start looking around under the hood and listening for a vacuum sound or leak. Grab vacuum lines gently and twist or pull to see if the idle changes.

What have you checked already? Manual or auto trans?

Any intake leaks? Any check engine codes? Runs/drives fine when its not idling?
