I have 91 4runner that smokes on decel. when i bought it, it had a bad engine in it with a spun rod bearing, so I put a new rebuilt long block into it. it runs great lots of power and good milage but I can't get it to quit smoking. When it had the old engine in it I drove it around the block and it smoked then too so it couldn't be the new engine. and when I was swapping over the intake onto the long block I noticed that there was oil in the bottom of the intake in number 3 and 4. I replaced the pcv valve and tried the egr block off on the intake side of the egr and nothing has worked.... any ideas and help would be great!.

 

my 22r does that too. the oil comes out the valve cover breather andvgoes straight into my intake. its been like that for a while. i just dont down shift. cause the engine braking pressure pushes more oil out. i think its my rings or valves leaking pressure into the valve cover area.
