Hi guys what im trying to find out is if there's to much trouble swaping from 91 2wd 22re into my 86 4runner and what do i need to change for example sensors , ecu, electric, if any body has done the same swap please what to know if is worth it because that engine has 130k and runs really smooth.

 

The core compents (by that I mean long block) of the engine should swap nicely, as a 22re is a 22re. I know that there are some differences in the emission control system. You may be better off swapping the long blocks only and not trying to swap in the newer EFI system.
