91 22re sputters

ok so my buddy just bought a 91 extra cab for 200 bucks. now the truck sat for 2 or 3 years and the fuel pump was junk. so we replaced that and did a full tune up on it(plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil, air filter, belts) now we got it to run but it sputters when you start to drive. now my first thought was tps. (different friend had same prob) well we trackd down a good tps and also changed the throtle body. the little vacume hole in the inlet pipe was full of chipmunk stuff. we just did that today and it ran good for alittle wile like till it heated up and then had the same issue. now we havnt cheaked the vac hoses yet but we will. dose anyone have any idea what could be causing this to happen? o and the cheak engine light is not on.

Could be a whole lot of things. Did you set up the TPS properly when you installed it? How is your timing?
