MAF Trouble?

ok so i checked my MAF everything checked out allright except for the "Fc and E1" on my multi tester the numbers never moved and they are "infinity"?

and number two everyone keeps talking about these wires that are spose to be inside of the MAF but mine doesnt have any wires in it?

that is the air temp sensor that your looking at, the white thing, the wires that it connects to are in the top of the VAFM just under the siliconed black plastic cover.I have a pic somewear and post it for you to look at

Fc & E1 is the fuel pump switch - the terminals should not have continuity (infinity resistance) until the vane is opened. When you push the vane open, those two terminals should make contact and have continuity. If not, you can carefully try bending the metal tabs. You have to cut the silicone around the black plastic cap to remove it and get at the works.

If you get it working, be sure to reseal the cap.

Can a maf be bad even if it doesnt throw a code??
