89 pickup 3.0 missfiring

I got an 89 3.0 v6 and the bearing in the distributor just went bad and was making a real bad noise and running off 1 mabey 2 cylinders. I replaced the distributor along with rotor, cap, wires, and plugs and it helped a lot but its still missing. Ive checked the wires and there in correct spots. The check engine light does come on after about 5 minutes of driving but i havn't pulled any codes yet. If any has any ideas/suggestions let me know, thanks.

Pull the codes and postup or just search em and see what they read. Thatll tell you a lot alone.

You didnt say if you adjusted/ checked your timing.
How was it running before the bad dist?
Are you getting a code 25? All that missing will cause your o2 sensor to read a lean air fuel mixture.
