89 pickup 22re problems

hey, my truck is bogging out whenever it gets wet or im in misty weather. i replace plugs plug wires distributer cap and rotor ignition coil and mass airflow sensor and its still being a pain in the ass. ive sprayed most of the parts with water and nothing seems to be arcing out. the boggin only happens in the first 2k rpm area then seems to clear out and run fine afterwards. i have no cat on it and it only happens when wet. i noticed the o2 sensor wires are beat to but would that have anything to do with it? the bogging almost feels like im pushing water through it and then it backfires a few times and clears out around 2k. there isnt any water getting in through the air cleaner though cuz its always wicked dry. anyone had this problem or know what i should try to do? (besides throwing out all the fancy efi stuff and going to a good old fasioned carb)

The coil probebly has a crack in it around where the wire goes in. Get a new coil. You don't need a Toyota coil, you can get a universal coil from a parts store. Run it at night and look for arcs.

My friend has this same problem. There is a relay in the passenger side kick panel that is getting wet from the windshield leaking.
Might be something to look at.
