Back in 2021 I saved my truck from going to the junkyard fixed it and daily drove it for about 2 years.

I blew the engine at 260k miles and it's been sitting in my garage since gutted.

I originally planned to swap in a 2jz that I pulled out of a Lexus is300 but after seeing how much it would cost to build the engine to make power and buying a transmission they would work with it since my truck is automatic. I kind just left it sitting in my garage.

At this point I'm not worried about power I just want it back on the road with something other than the 22re.

I do want to manual swap it what are my budget options? were I don't have to loose an arm and a leg.

 

2rz or 3rz and w59 from a first gen Tacoma or 3rd gen 4runner that is 2wd.
