'97-'05 Snorkel fit on '89-'95 vehicle?
Hey guys,
I thought I'd struck it lucky when I found a second-hand Safari Snorkel at the wreckers; normally they're crushed from a roll-over.
It's actually off a newer model than my vehicle... How well do you think the outside, plastic part of a '97-'05 model snorkel (4th-gen truck) would fit the fender of my 1990 vehicle (3rd-gen truck)?
cheers

IMHO - the fedner part wont work too well.
Call ARB - they'll probably sell ya just the fender part
Also ask if the A pillar part is different (probably is).
Best bet might be to sell it and use the $$ to get one that fits better

It can be made to phisically bolt on. but it will stick out from the truck a good 6 inches at the bend where it starts up the windo frame. plus it will be a few inches too tall. I tried it a few months ago, got one for free, ran it for a little while then traded it away and bought the right one.
