88 4runner Rear Heater Help

well hi guys. im slightly new to YT and to fixing my truck. i went and bought a center console from a guy that was parting out his 87, and the console i bought is the SR5 version with 2 opening compartments. the one in my 88 only has one compartment, with the rear heater underneath. i never use the rear heater so i figured why not rip it out. i got it all unbolted and i saw that there was 2 hoses holding it in. not even thinking i took some cutters to it, and then i realized my mistake. so now i have no radiator coolant in my truck, and a cut hose. what do i do to block off the hoses so i can take out the rear heater. i dont plan on putting the heater back so would it be possible to get rid of the hoses all together? help guys!

Dean

Under your hood you will see two coolant lines that 't' off of the main. You could cap them or run a short hose to connect them. Or find the lines from a truck or runner that didn't have rear heat and swap those into your set up.
