Unhappy 88 4runner pully problem

Driving home from work yesterday the charging light came on. Got home and smoke from the burning belts on the p.steering and alt. belts. Bought new belts and installed. When replacing the fan I could'nt reach the bottom studs, so i disc. the coil wire, bumped the ign. and the pully for the fan would not turn. Can anyone tell me whats up?
I replaced the coil wire and the motor ran fine.
It's a v6 w/ 150k

Pulley for the "what" would not return? You kinda skipped that detail. I'm guessing the fan?

Your fan support is locked up.

that would be the bracket that "looks" like a water pump under the fan pulley.

Many options for replacement, search Ebay (the dealer wants $750). And do a search on here, find as much info as possible. Be sure to read up and research on the pot metal style ones, that break in half.
