88 4Runner charcoal canister: Purge hose.
88 4Runner 3.0
I was under the hood today and I realized a vacuum hose that was unplugged. There are two lines coming off the top of the canister, one that says "to tank" and the other says "purge". I routed the hose back to the "purge" side. When looking at the back of my engine I saw a place to plug it back in and did so. Is that "purge" hose suppose to run to the back of the engine? And what does it do?

And I labeled both ends of each of my hoses (that is the little white strips on the vacuum lines in the photo above). While those lines may look like a plate of spaghetti at first glance, they are actually very logically laid out and it only takes a little time to understand what each one does and where it goes.

ok that makes since im going to go out and smoke about 50 cigs now cause i bet thats where my power just went lol it was good before the swap and now its just seams funny ill go and take a look real fast thanks a million
