88' 3VZE Trigger Angle?

Hey guys. Found your site during a web search. Great info here.

My 88' 3VZE has spent the last 8yrs happily controlled by a Haltech E6X ECU. It was recently rebuilt after cyl #6 hydrolocked on motor oil. Now the rebuild is not playing nicely with the old ECU configuration. The builder set the timing at 12deg, so that may be part of the problem.

Anyway, I'm going thru the ECU set-up pages (sanity check) and it's asking for the trigger angle (deg BTDC) to help it calculate when the ECU can trigger the next ignition. I'm pouring over my serv manual, but can't find how the OEM ECU gets this signal or how to adapt it for my purposes.

The engine is currently running w/ it set at 60 deg, but of course I don't know if that's correct.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
