88 3.0 possible Code 11 and fuel issues

In the mornings when i first start up the truck, the idle is very jumpy and goes up and down. It sounds like it definatly has a knock too. When you turn the truck off, there is a strong smell of fuel towards the front passenger side of the truck. I filled it up completely, reset my mileage, and so far i have about 95 miles on it and im down to half a tank. SOmething aint right here.

I pulled the code on it and i think it is a Code 11. Im not too sure, so i am including a video of the diagnostic test.

Thanks guys.

Code 11: ECU Power supply

Sounds like you have a major problem, and with a major fuel smell, not one you should be driving around on. Especially if the fuel drips down onto a hot manifold, then *poof* your truck goes up in flames.

First step is to find out where that fuel smell is coming from. My mom just had a fuel smell issue in her 95, and it turned out to be the Fuel dampner on the pass side fuel rail. And it was puking fuel, it wasn't even safe to drive. We had to trailer it to the shop.

okay, what can i do to fix the ECU power supply? Is there a relay or what? Also it should be noted that my 4Runner has a 'Remaned ECU' that was installed by a previous owner. I did not change this at all.

Under where it says Engine Computer Control, there is some writing, this is what it says:

100% computer tested
Tested under extreme "on-car" conditions: hot, cold, shock, vibration
Dynamomater Proven
Meets O.E. Emmisions and Perfomance Standards

It appears as though it is made by a company named ASI

not sure about that one.

I am always weary about those non-OEM remans. I have seen nothing but problems with them.

You could try the ECU, but often that is not the problem. I would track down that fuel smell first. The way i think, if there is not enough fuel pressure, it could be throwing the code.
