86 Toyota w/ 22r Charging problem

Well here is whats going on. I got a brand new starter and battery and only after running my truck for awhile and than turn it off, it wont start. Just clicks like a bad starter would. What would this be? Alternator? It fires up right away being jumped right afterwords.Maybe distributer or cylinoid? I am an amature mechanic and if pointed the right way I can figure out how to replace what needs to be replaced. (if you want to point me to the way of a good online how to) thats cool too but what the hell is going on with this

It has a brand new starter, the bushings are in 100% perfect condition. It just wont hold a charge, after about 15 minutes of running it wont start back up without a jump start. It also has a new battery with plenty of cold cranking amps.

sorry, I misunderstood you.
check you fuses, in particular the 'charge' fuse, but be sure and check them all. get the truck running and check the voltage on the post on the alternator. with the engine running the voltage should be at or above 14volts dc. if it's not, it could be the brushes in the alternator, the regulator or some other issue.
