86 flywheel help

so im in the process of rebuilding my re and I forget how the flywheel and the two shims go. can someone please help. there is one thick one and one thin one and I cant remember what side of the flywheel or the order they go in.

Just where did these shims come from ??

They were not bolted behind the flywheel where they ??

If the were shims they were made for your engine no telling how or where they might go .

I think he means Flexplate (Auto Trans)

22R Flywheels (manual trans) do not use shims

ill try to send pics don't know how but maybe I can figure ut out. shims might have been the wrong word to use, they look like spacers. I have an auto transmission.

this is correct

so with the ATM the "thick one" is at the crank .. thin one is on the torque converter side
