They did an ok job. Not sure if they were trying to or not, but 2 of the 4 screws for each speaker are into the metal frame behind the panel, so it's not completely free floating in there. And the sound deadening I used in there made them sound way better.

Also, no need to cut up the wiring, simply repin the connector.

So the passenger side is a completely different story. You will have to modify the harness to fit it to the different switch.

It's easy enough though

Kiyo- I think there's a lot of things you could do with that switch! Let me know what you end up doing when you swap your panels! (if you do, I checked out your 4runner album and yours look pretty nice as is)
Joe I was wondering if you could tell me the wiring color codes to do this swap I had the door panels in the plugs but you didn't describe which wires to connect to what when you did your swap if you could put that in your description or send me an email personally that would be so awesome I really want to do my swap I'm all ready to go but have no clue what wires connect to what thanks again for the help

I wonder if I could use that power mirror switch in the door, then find the blank cubby for the dash and get rid of that switch. Interesting......

Hey friend, I recently bought a toyota like yours and it does not have the relay door control, so obviously the windows do not work, could you tell me the number the relay has written? in the picture you took, it is not appreciated. I ask you to search for it by its part number
