86 22re question

i am rebuilding my 86 22re and painting it (thanx bleeder-dude)

anyways. as i am re assembling the motor. i put on the heater tube. (as highlighted with yellow) this is the correct place for it right??

my next question is...what bolts up to where the red circle is.? it is no where near the block.

its for the heater correct?

Yes it is your heater hose but as far as the mount being off the block like that I'm not sure.

Your hose is in the right spot...could be something with power steering... and maybe u dont have it...cuz theres nothing attached to that spot on mine either.. and i dont have power steering...

but maybe im just a dumb stoner and forgot i took something out of that spot too..but i doubt it

It's in the right spot. There is no bolt in that position on either my 91 or 88.

If you look at these pics of mine you can see there is no bolt on mine either and so far with the first 100 miles I have not had any issues with it moving or being a problem with heating so far anyway

what is the big coolant tube bolted too?

the one by the motor mount. is it actually on the motor mount.? or behind it? or???
