86 22r PCV Problems... ? Please help

I replaced my stock carb with a weber 32/36... I'm not the best mechanic. I tried my best to read all the directions lol!

Anyway... now when I accelerate much at all, it bogs down pretty bad, and its developed an oil leak around the PCV return line. Any tips are appreciated. Thank you!

I put a 32/36 Weber on my 87. I’ve spent hours on adjusting it, first by following the directions I got over the phone from Weber tech, then by using a vacuum gauge, then just by winging it, The basic problem I’ve had all along with it is that when I get it running right at idle, warm and cold, then it idles too high after running it. So I’ve got it in between. Now, this is with a brand new head and fully rebuilt engine, with perfect timing and vacuum, and it shouldn’t be that difficult. I will never buy another Weber carb. They should recall these things. I’ve heard several such complaints on this forum. The company obviously got the design very wrong and instead of producing more lemons should cough up the resources for a new design.
Your leaking oil is probably from a dried or cracked grommet in the valve cover
Good luck with the carb, you’re going to need it

Did it ever run right after you put on the weber? There's a horrible amount of dust in the engine bay. The carb filter looks filthy. Maybe change the filter. A clean engine bay is a good thing.
