4x4 indicator switch

working on a 91 toyota pickup. the 4x4 indicator switch had two wires coming out and one came out. bought new switch but has no wires coming out just female plug. cannot locate a male plug to buy.

You sure you got the correct replacement part? How about the mating connector on the harness? What does it look like?

It IS the correct part. (Toyota # 84222-35070, Dorman 600-554 https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-45330-600-554.aspx ) The connector matches the EWD. (By the way, your switch has a MALE connector. You compare the metal part to the, uh, male characteristic. )

You're looking for a female connector. Do you think you have a FrankenTruck where someone cut off the connector? Where/how did your prior switch connect?

Looks like somebody did cut off the connector. Was hoping it was there so I can just splice in with longer wires from harness.
