4wd problem

My 1995 toyota pickup 4wd is not engaging. The axels spin all the way to the wheels but the wheels won't spin. Anybody know what could be causing this?

Do you have manual locking hubs or ADD flanges? Does your 4x4 dash light come on? But yeah, what this guy said ^

Your hubs are probably stove up inside
Wouldn't hurt to rebuild them

Count the splines while ya got it apart to make sure a previous owner didn't put the wrong hubs on it. Unless you've had the 4x4 working in the past

You might try warming up the hubs with a hair dryer of if you're handy use a propane torch. Just don't melt anything.

No "kit" really needed, except some gaskets.
