Legit low mileage and clean 89 4runner. Will it break $20?
not an Sr5 and ugly rims but i think it lands at $17 or $18k because of the low milage.

Any other guesses?

I don't love the color or the graphics....and the wheels are terrible. It's in great shape, that frame looks factory fresh, but still, I'll be sad if it breaks 15k.

I am glad we are all in agreement!

That 4Runner needs stock wheels.

It will be interesting to see what the final bid will be!

cory why will you be sad? Feeling like the market will take off and average guys will be priced out, or maybe the first gen 4runner will be the new “old Ford Bronco”? I’m happy the value of mine is going up.

A black turbo 4runner. Not perfect, but not bad either. Needs some paint and body work.
You Pacific Northwest guys are so spoiled.

why do you care that much if the value goes up? i don’t, but i have zero interest in flipping mine. just like all my previous vehicles, i will run them into the ground. lucky for me, these toyotas go for a long time.

so, yeah, the market will price people like me out that just want a decent used rig for a reliable daily driver that doesn’t cost $25k, and doesn’t have a bunch of modern BS like lane assist, and other features that will fail.

i have flipped a lot of Toyotas in my younger days. I love anything that appreciates in value. Like it or not, these 80’s Toyotas are becoming collectible vehicles due to reputation, style, quality and scarcity. Few people buy 30 year old vehicles as dailys.

Here’s a sharp, low-mileage 86 4runner.

This truck is very clean.
The owner sanded and painted the hard top to match the body, it looks better now.

I thought this gen 4Runner only came in 4WD?
It states: Originally two-wheel-drive from the factory, the truck is now equipped with a two-speed transfer case that can send power to the rear or all four wheels. ???

Maybe the fact that the 4Runner had a solid axle swap confused the Bring a Trailer ad writer?

I have never seen a factory 2WD 4Runner from this body style.
