Hey on that IACV when you made the adjustments did you screw the adjuster in or out? I'm guessing it's like the idle adjustment screw in that farther in eguates to lower rpms.

Oh and any advice on fixing the interior door handles? So far the drivers side door won't open from the outside and the passenger side door won't open from inside. My list for this weekend keeps getting longer.
Why don't you take off the door panel and have a look. Its pretty easy to take apart. The only trick is to remember to slide the handles forward to remove them (after removing the screw) and use a cloth rag to remove the window crank as there is a C-clip holding it in place.

Well, I was following the FSM and it didn't get too much into adjustment, but I took the face of the valve off, loosened the nut on the backside, then opened up the valve and tightened it back down. Sounds like yours is already open full bore, so you just need to relax it a little to get a little less air in there to drop the idle speed. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

And my wife is pissed..... I emailed the guy for the throttle body. I haven't even heard from the guy and I got in trouble!! Guess I better go do some chores before I am sleeping in the garage.

I just got home and pulled it apart. The little catch on the door handle was held on with a bread tie....... Jesus.

I found a clip that would work and put it back together. The door panel is trashed on the inside and broken in several places so now I'm back to sourcing parts. I swear I'm just going to pull them off and make some out of diamond plate aluminum.

I keep an air mattress in the 4runner just in case.

It's kind of like camping.

Don't tempt me. I had a factory 8 track in a 76 ford years ago and the only tape I had was Freddy Fender. Yup I played it all day every day, until the last tear drop fell.

Wow. Sorry dude, can't help you with the 8 tracks, although I have a couple milk crates worth of vinyl you can spin. Thieves won't know what to do with that they would just stare at it.

I called down to locate the stock radio. My family is supposedly bringing it up on Saturday. I'll post up a pic or 2 and see if you still want it.

Also, looks like I am second in line for that throttle body. He also has an LCE flex fan (mechanical, not electrical) Anyone have any luck with these?

Seems like a compromise on price and performance between stock and electric fans. Haven't found anyone that has used one though.....

Here it is, in all its glory. If you want it let me know. If someone steals this stereo they are either really hard up, or you pissed em off somewhere along the line......

From: Yotatech, because Pirate is too expensive. NorCal.
I was always thinking about taking one of those and take the front off of it and make a cover for a nice radio. So you put that over it when you park.
