4Runner Accident!

The roads were pretty icy this morning and I was idling at a light and all of a sudden.. BOOM.. I get rear ended by a tiny ford escort. Poor thing didn't stand a chance against my runner. My tow hitch practically totaled the poor girls' car. I got out and almost laughed. I couldnt even tell that my runner was hit. Thank god everyone was okay... with the exception of the escort. I'm glad I decided to put my tow hitch back on last month after i repainted it. Otherwise my brand new chrome bumpers would have been in sad shape.

I was driving into work last week in the lovely I-5 traffic. I was at a stop then I got rear-ended by a Mercurry Mountaineer. My tow hitch saved my bumper as well. I will never drive with out my hitch on from now on because people can't drive.

Yeah, I know the feeling. I used to feel hesitant about having my tow hitch on without a bumper since the receiver sticks out of the back of my truck like a harpoon ready to skewer littler cars. But it's the idiot who wasn't looking's fault if they get skewered, they deserve it...

alright, ditch the trailer idea.
when my rear bumper is done being fabbed up, that should be enough for impaling cars with a built in hitch!
