4Runner 3.0 Engine Sensor Question

Hello, does anyone know what the name of the sensor circled is called? It snapped while I was replacing the heater hose and now has a rough time starting.
I though it was the coolant temp sensor, but the guage is reading correctly. Thank you

The ECU and the gauge you look at have 2 different sensors. I suspect that of being the one that feeds the ECU.
Thus, your gauge reads right, but the ECU is using it's default, average setting, rather than the actual coolant temp. Make sense?

Hope this helps....

2ToyGuy is correct, that is the ECT sensor used by the ECU. "Rough time starting" will be part of the symptoms.

It looks like the wires to the CSI Timer switch (black cap between two coolant lines) are broken. That's not going to help either.

Thanks you guys, bought one from the parts store and it solved my long crank problem. Also this is not my picture, just one I found online of how my setup looks like.
