It can be done with a little work. The big thing is - the 4Runner top was made to be bolted down a certain way, including to the cab. Also, you won't have a rear window. Your best bet is to find one of the made-to-fit 4Runner look-alike fiberglass tops.

What...do you already have to put on?

Much to my surprise, I have seen a pick-up...not even a Toyota...recently that had one on it. I only saw it passing, so I don't have the slightest idea how he'd done it...some old codger.

I believe, though, you should be able to fit it and even mate a rear window from a regular shell to it. The passerby had one. Again, don't know how. In any case, you could make a simple canvas one that snapped on. For the cab side, you could do the same or with some plexiglass and bolts. And lots of silicon! That's if you can live with having to look through two windows. If not, then you'll have to drill, as mtnfreak said. Personally, I wouldn't.

I'd suggest taking measurements and angles and compare notes. I can a get a bed dimension taken tomorrow from my 4rnr that would give you a length and width and height.
