More power is a given, but what about the milage? I would assume it would drop due to higher RPM's.

sorry fellas nothing with 4.56 or 4.88's down there. I'll keep and eye out and if one comes up I'll post to see if there is immediate interest at that time.

MPG rely mainly on your driving style and your right foot. The 4.88s should allow you to build momentum quickly. In stop and go traffic it will probably only help marginally but with hwy speeds you'll be able to crusie in 5th.
If real mpgs is what you what then put those stock 26 donut size tires on and you'll be slammin' som mpg. If you want you vehicle to preform well then you'll have to gear accordingly. There is no yota that I know of that competes with the speeds of Farrari(spelling),but no Farrari preforms like a Yota!
If you want to run bigger tires your're going to have to sacrafice mpgs to an extent.

I'm not so much worried about the gas mileage, but it's something to consdier when picking out a gear ratio. Something as simple as maybe a 4.56 is more suited for someone who is more on road then off where a 4.88 is more for someone who goes offroad more than on road driving. I guess that's more what I was looking for when I was asking about the gear ratios. I'm trying to figure out what would be the best for me. I'm not going to be running more than a 33" tire on my truck. I might go up when I do my SAS, but that's not going to happen within the next couple of years.

Most go with the 4.88s, My opinion is that it is better to be a little overgeared than under geared. While I believe that 4.56s would be 100% better than 4.10s,I don't believe that 4.56s would be worth the time.Meaning that why should I cut it short when I can get 4.88s and have plenty of power. Instead of flooring it as much I can use less gas pedal to get the job done.In my mind that is better MPG. If you do more 55-65 driving the 4.88s would be great I think. If you don't plan on ever going to anything bigge rthan 33's and drive 65-70mph alot then 4.56s might be better. Just think about the future,if you have it in the back of your head about going bigger then you need to prepare now.
Hope this helps.
