3VZE valve cover torque?

The number of screws are plentiful, fine thread, fastening into aluminum and valve covers are polymer. Recipe for disaster if over torqued. If you get a leak its because you forgot the FIPG adhesive in the recommended places or you are using parts off crappy molds from the really far east.

even neater is that I could not find that in the FSM or the HAYNEs......FSM says nothing.....unless I am to use the graph to figure out the bolt heads and the corresponding torque rating and the HAYNES says ....snug, but not too tight.....gee, thanks for that HAYNES.

Hey thanks You guys for posting the torque spec for the valve covers. I bought my FSM the same year I bought my Pickup new, both from the dealer, that was in 1989. That issue of the FSM does not include that torque spec anywhere in the the book. Excellent graphic from Mudhippy, my FMS does not have that in it. So, thanks again.
