so after a day of light wheeling i noticed a slight ticking, figured probably injectors at first then it got a little louder thought lifters then I started loosing power so i turned up the radio and just hammered down but the speedo kept falling until the radio could no longer drown out the sound of a rod trying to escape the block, when it did i was amazed the truck still ran idled. low mileage engine and well maintained but oh well, it was a 94

so my question do I pull the 3vze from my 95 with a blown rear end and drop it how difficult will that be?

both are autos what other options do i have, thanks

If you have a 3vze on hand use it. In the mean time I would find a 3.4 and start rebuilding it.

Just swap 3.0s. You already have all the parts, and it really not a bad motor.

Im just gonna swap in the other 3 and giver, it was amazing what my stock on 31's runner was going through with a knocking motor didnt have to take a 2nd run at anything even guys in jeeps lifted lockers and winches were taking second or 3rd runs at some of the terrain we went through, I had some guy say he would be my spotter, I told him its a toyota and Im just gonna pin it so step back.
