3vze temp sensor problem.

I have a 93 pickup with the 3vze engine and i changed the driver side valve cover gasket and now my temp gauge reads maxed out all the time now. i think i have a short to ground but i can't find any think. does anyone have any suggestions?

The sender is behind the intake. Do a search you will find a picture.

Did you pinch the harness under the VC?
