Epikos: I have an almost identical truck and was getting poor mileage (16-17) and discovered it was caused by a hole in one of the MILLIONS of vacuum hoses (Idle Air Control Valve area). Go all over them with an UNLIT propane torch while the engine is running; if it idles up, you have a leak there.

BTW; I now average 20 mpg and have gotten up to 24 mpg on the interstate @ 75 mph.
