Checked my oil yesterday and noticed the stick smelled rather fuelly, any ideas what could be causing this? Also the truck has been running funny bucking and what not. Code readings are 52 and 25.

 

I think the codes mean knock sensor or it's wiring. The gas in the oil? valve guides? Dead cylinders? I don't realy know.

Sounds like it is running rich, but the 25 code says your air-fuel ratio is too lean. Is black smoke coming out? Check your air flow meter anyway. If its not opening properly,your car will idle but buck or about shut down when you drive it, and it will make your plugs sooty. It will also make your oil black and gassy. 52 is knock sensor code, one tough job to tackle.
