We have a 92 pickup manual trans 4x4 with a bad 3vze. Have a donor 92 4runner with a 3vze non 4x4 auto trans we will be taking the engine out of. Is there any issues we should be aware of going from an auto non 4x4 to the manual 4x4 truck or is it a straight drop in?

Should be virtually identical.
Might be some few sensor differences, especially if one is Federal emissions spec and the other is California spec.
If differences are found, switch those electrics from the dead engine onto the new one and you should be good to go.
The new engine will need a pilot bearing installed in the crank to accommodate the manual tranny.
