Are 3vze and 3vzn parts interchangeable

Hello all,
Head gasket blew on my 3vzn 91 4runner. Started doing research on purchasing parts. After a bit I realized that vze parts might not fit my vzn. So my question is will vze parts fit on my vzn. As the first line says blew head gasket so i need all parts to replace the head gasket and heads while i am at it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh forgot to mention I am located on Guam. Thanks!

You don't have a 3vzn. Since there's no such thing. What you have is a 3VZ-E.

The VZ series of engines consists of:

1VZ-FE

2VZ-FE

3VZ-E

3VZ-FE

4VZ-FE

5VZ-FE

Mud...thanks for the information and direction. Got it all sorted out. It's not that I didn't belive you, it's just that I have been taught to trust but verify. Verification is exactly what you told me. Thank again. Take care and Happy New Year.

In short...

A 3VZ-FE is basically a 3VZ-E with:

DOHC(Dual OverHead Camshafts)
24 valves
SFI(Sequential Fuel Injection)
ACIS(Acoustic Control Induction System)
Forged crankshaft
Several other minor differences
