3VZ-E Timing Belt Replacement check

I've just replaced the timing belt and components on my truck, and I was wondering if it would be ok to start up the truck without the radiatior, fan, or any of the other drive belts on there just for a few seconds so I can make sure the timing is all fine tuned.

Yep...I wouldn't run it for more than about 30 seconds though.

so all the timing marks seem to be dead on, the truck is running good but is idling at about 1500rpm.....do i need to play around with the timing a little more or could anything else be causing it to idle high?

Well; it's COLD....it will idle high until it warms up. Normal. You can worry about exact timing & idle set later. You're only concerns now are timing belt alignment & no missing~

There's no warm coolant running past the coolant temp sensor so it's probably just doing the normal cold idle-up.
