3VZ-E Timing Belt Replacement check
I've just replaced the timing belt and components on my truck, and I was wondering if it would be ok to start up the truck without the radiatior, fan, or any of the other drive belts on there just for a few seconds so I can make sure the timing is all fine tuned.

so all the timing marks seem to be dead on, the truck is running good but is idling at about 1500rpm.....do i need to play around with the timing a little more or could anything else be causing it to idle high?

Well; it's COLD....it will idle high until it warms up. Normal. You can worry about exact timing & idle set later. You're only concerns now are timing belt alignment & no missing~
