3vz afm adjustment question..

I've read a few threads on adjusting the wheel in the afm and also referenced other write ups on other sites ..my question is, some people say turn counter clockwise for lean and i found a couple of pics that have arrows pointing clockwise for lean...which way is lean?

I turned mine counter clockwise and saw an increase in mpg, also advanced my timing to 15*, not sure if that did anything or not though haha. Also removed my efi fuse for a few minutes, not sure if that is necessary or not though either but I figured it wouldn't hurt anything

I think that might have been the one I did actually, mixed up the orientation of the teeth in my head.

haha, yeah it depends on how you count... I used that pic above when doing mine, 2 clicks lean. Some people do 3 or more. It probably depends on a few things in terms of safe, as that is fairly relative. 2 or 3 is probably safe, adjust idle and see how the next few tanks work.

Also put a mark at the stock location for reference.

should be moving the teeth clockwise right? probably use 2 flat heads or something to do it, that's what I did

Cut off muffler, rebuilt engine, cams, and oversize injectors. Before the injectors it would lean out at hi rpm due to afm maxing out.
