Does anybody know if size 31x10.5x15 will fit a stock 1988 4-runner. I am worried about the tires being to big so as not to get a full turning radius. Appreciate any thoughts...thanks

I have 31's BFG TA/KOs on my 89 stock 4runner. They fit with no problems at all.

Both of mine have 31 10.50's. The one with the bikini top is sitting stock.

 

no, but you can run 33x10.5s with little to no rubbing.

 

yes they will, i was worried too. i was able to put 31x10.50R15 BFG A/T's on my stock 88 runner. the only time they rub is when im backing up and i have the wheel cut ALL THE WAY. other than that nothing.. and i have had them on there for a couple months now.. i can post pics if you would like..

 

I have some Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos 31x10.50 on 15x8 rims.
No problems. You will notice slight power loss,moving from stockers to these.

 

Here are some shots of my 4runner (87) sitting on 31s. I don't have the make/model of the tires, but that the look. I'll get a better Side shot and post up.

Sorry they aren't any closer. I'll try and get some better ones posted.
