3.Slow headers.

Those of you who have them, (considering NWOR, but prolly LCE). Was it worth the hassle & expense?

My exhaust is shot, needs crossover, downpipe, & rear muffler/tailpipe.

After I figure the cost of the crossover & downpipe, the headers are only about s $500.00 upgrade, but if there is no perf gain, I'll go back stock.

from what i've read they reduce the risk of the HG failure and there are some performance gains.

i have doug thorley headers. to me, it was worth the hassle... to some, they'll tell you different. the Doug thorley kit comes with the headers, crossover, and a Y pipe with an O2 sensor. I recommend welding the crossover and other misc. pipes because their flanges are generic... plus, I'd recommend getting a custom Y pipe... as the one doug thorley gives you makes a chattering noise due to an inperfection in the piping...

I think its worth it, especially if your engine is in good shape. That coupled with a few other misc. stuff made my 3.slow into 3.fast-for-a-3.slow.
